
Ken Tai

Ken Tai, Principal Architect of Tai Architect Inc., brings an international perspective to his projects. Born in Hong Kong and educated in Australia and Canada, Ken’s unique experiences allow him to build positive relationships with clients from diverse cultures, backgrounds and visions.
Ken’s portfolio includes urban, residential, institutional and heritage projects. Ken graduated from the University of Toronto in 2002. From 2002-2006, he was an intern developing his skills and experiences in the field. From design to customer service to construction administration and much more, Ken established foundational knowledge during the first five years. Ken worked for David Johnson Architect for a decade (2006-2016). He focused on heritage, mid-sized residential and commercial projects (e.g. plazas, senior centres, boutique hotels, housing developments, working with municipalities).
Ken became a licensed architect with the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) in 2012.
Tai Architect Inc. was established in 2017. With 15 years of professional experience and many industry contacts across the Greater Toronto Area, Ken and his team specialize in custom home design projects (infill projects, additions and interior alterations) meticulously designed and delivered to exceed their clients’ expectations.
